Conformal isomorphism of inner functions

From MaRDI portal

Let \(D\) denote the open unit disk and \(T\) its boundary. Let \(f\) be an inner function whose boundary function is denoted by \(f^*\) (i.e., \(f^*(x)= \lim_{r \to 1} f(rx))\). If an inner function has a fixed point \(p\in D\), then the harmonic measure with respect to \(p\), \(\lambda_p\), is an \(f^*\)-invariant measure and the system \((T, \lambda_p,f^*)\) is an abstract dynamical system. The paper deals with such systems. The author proves the following Theorem: Let \(f\) and \(g\) be inner functions with fixed points \(p_1\) and \(p_2\) in \(D\). If either \(f\) or \(g\) is not Möbius and \((T, \lambda_{p_1},f^*)\) and \((T, \lambda_{p_2}, g^*)\) are measure theoretically conjugate, then \(f\) and \(g\) are conformally conjugate.
