Conformally Invariant Extremal Problems and Quasiconformal Maps
From MaRDI portal
In the present paper sharp bounds for the conformal capacity of \(n\)- dimensional ring domains are obtained. As a consequence the author proved the following beautiful variant of A.Mori's theorem: Let \(f:R^ n\to R^ n\) be a \(K\)-quasiconformal mapping with \(f(0)=0\) and \(f(B^ n)\subset B^ n=\{x\in R^ n: | x| <1\}\). Then \[ | f(x)- f(y)| \leq 128| x-y| ^{1/K} \] for all \(x,y\in B^ n\).
