Connections for weighted projective lines

From MaRDI portal

Abstract: We introduce a notion of a connection on a coherent sheaf on a weighted projective line (in the sense of Geigle and Lenzing). Using a theorem of Huebner and Lenzing we show, under a mild hypothesis, that if one considers coherent sheaves equipped with such a connection, and one passes to the perpendicular category to a nonzero vector bundle without self-extensions, then the resulting category is equivalent to the category of representations of a deformed preprojective algebra.

The author considers the weighted projective line \(X(w)\), the category \(Coh(X(w))\) of coherent sheaves on \(X(w)\) and the category \(Bund(X(w))\) of vector bundles on \(X(w)\). He proves the category \(Bund(X(w))\) is equivalent to the category of locally free sheaves on the projective line equipped with a quasi parabolic structure. He defines the notion of a \(\eta\)-connection and extends this notion to give a notion valid for any coherent sheaf \(E\) in \(Coh(W(w))\), extending existing results for parabolic bundles. Given a coherent sheaf \(F\) in \(Coh(X(w))\) he shows the perpendicular category \(F^*\) is equivalent to the category \(Rep(\prod^\lambda(A))\) of representations of a deformed preprojective algebra \(A\). The aim of the construction is to use it in the study of the Deligne-Simpson problem.
