Constrained regularized least squares problems
From MaRDI portal
[For the entire collection see Zbl 0746.00070.] The author considers a finite-dimensional linear equation that arises from the discretization of a linear ill-posed problem. He considers Tikhonov regularization together with linear inequality constraints. The problem is transformed to its dual. The gradient and the Hessian of the objective function of the dual problem are computed. Based on this computation, a class of numerical methods is suggested; no numerical results are reported yet.
