Controllability and observability of tempered fractional differential systems

From MaRDI portal

The authors are concerned with the linear tempered fractional system: \N\[\N\begin{cases}^TD_0^{\alpha,\rho}y(t)=Ay(t)+Bu(t),&t\in[0,T],\\\Ny(0)=y_0,&y_0\in\mathbb{R}^n,\end{cases}\N\]\Nwhere \(y:[0,T]\to\mathbb{R}^n\), \(^TD_0^{\alpha,\rho}y(t)\) is the Caputo tempered fractional order derivative of \(y\), \(A\in\mathbb{R}^{n\times n}\) \Nis the state matrix, \(B\in \mathbb{R} ^{n\times m}\) is the control matrix, and \(u:[0,T]\to\mathbb{R}^m\) is the input control function. Results on the well-posedness, the controllability and the observability of the system are given.
