Countable dense homogeneity and topological groups
A separable metric space \(X\) is \textit{countable dense homogeneous (CDH)} if any two of its countable dense subsets can be mapped onto each other by a homeomorphism of \(X\). The authors give the most elegant proof yet of the fact that there is a non-Polish CDH separable metric by considering a subgroup of \(\mathbb Z^\omega\) generated by finite modifications of a sufficiently fast increasing unbounded sequence of functions. Other than its simplicity and elegance, the construction has the added advantage that it presents a CDH topological group. The question whether every Baire CDH topological group contains a copy of the Cantor set is raised.
