Counting arcs of the same type

From MaRDI portal

``We prove a general counting result for arcs of the same type in compact surfaces. We also count infinite arcs in cusped surfaces and arcs in orbifolds. These theorems are derived from a result that ensures the convergence of certain measures on the space of geodesic currents. For some background on Mirzakhani's curve counting and geodesic current, see also a recent paper by \textit{V. Erlandsson} and \textit{J. Souto} [Mirzakhani's curve counting and geodesic currents. Cham: Birkhäuser (2022; Zbl 1514.32003)].
