A defense of applying Millian theory of proper names also to ``description-names (``The Rolling Stones\dots). The thesis is (p. 315): ``i) names name, ii) descriptions describe, and iii) description-names name and describe. Utterances of such sentences as ``The Evening Star, which is a star, \dots are analyzed in terms of ``multiple-propositions theory. Kaplan's Dthat is explained.
