Design of stable systems with uncertainties and constrained performance variations
The cost of the closed-loop system with uncertainties is defined as a perturbed cost. It is used to measure the difference between the nominal system and the system with uncertainties. A design algorithm is proposed for the linear uncertain system. The algorithm is used to construct a constant feedback gain which stabilizes the closed-loop system in spite of the uncertainties and also ensures the variation in the performance within a range. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the usefulness of the proposed method.
