Discrete model of an epidemic
From MaRDI portal
A discrete time, deterministic model of an epidemic is developed. The solution of this model will depend on constants which measure the rate at which the disease is spreading as well as the rate of recovery of the infected population. We will be particularly interested in the analysis of the model over the long term.
