Abstract: Let be a nonlinear map in a real Hilbert space . Suppose that , where , is arbitrary, is an element. If , then is surjective. If , and are constants independent of , then is a homeomorphism of onto . The last result is known as an Hadamard-type theorem, but we give a new simple proof of it based on the DSM (dynamical systems method).
