Embedding into duo rings
From MaRDI portal
There are many generalizations of commutativity in ring theory. Recall that a ring is duo if every left and right ideals are all two-sided. In this paper, the author constructs a domain that does not embed in a duo ring. Let \(F\) be a field. It is proved that if \(R\) is a graded ring such that\N\begin{itemize}\N\item[(1)] the grade 0 component is contained in the center and equals \(F\) as a ring,\N\item[(2)] the grade 4 and higher components are all zero, and\N\item[(3)] the ring is semicommutative,\N\end{itemize}\N then \(R\) embeds in a duo ring.
