In 2012, \textit{Z. T. Wen} et al. [Acta Math. Sin., Engl. Ser. 28, No. 7, 1295--1306 (2012; Zbl 1260.39027)] studied the finite order entire solutions of the equation\N\[\Nf^{n}+q(z)e^{Q(z)}f(z+c)=P(z).\N\]\NIn 2014, \textit{L.-W. Liao} and \textit{Z. Ye} [J. Aust. Math. Soc. 97, No. 3, 391--403 (2014; Zbl 1307.34132)] investigated the differential equation\N\[\Nf^{n}f'+P_{d}(z,f)=u(z)e^{v(z)}.\N\]\NInspired by the mentioned papers, the authors of the present manuscript explore the entire solutions of the following nonlinear differential-difference equation with two dominant terms:\N\[\Nf(z)^{n}+\omega f(z)^{n-1}f'(z)+q(z)e^{Q(z)}\mathcal{D}(z,f)=p_{1}e^{\lambda z}+p_{2}e^{-\lambda z},\N\]\Nwhere \(\mathcal{D}(z,f)=\sum_{i=0}^{k}b_{i}f^{(t_{i})}(z+c_{i})\not\equiv 0\), with \(b_{i},c_{i}\in \mathbb{C}\), \(t_{i}\) are non-negative integers, \(c_{0}=0\), \(t_{0}=0\). Their results improve and generalize known results.
