Ergodic dilation of a quantum dynamical system

From MaRDI portal

Abstract: We shall prove the following Stinespring-type theorem: there exists a triple (pi,mathcalH,mathbfV) associated with an unital completely positive map Phi:mathfrakAightarrowmathfrakA on C* algebra mathfrakA with unit, where mathcalH is a Hilbert space, pi:mathfrakAightarrowB(mathcalH) is a faithful representation and mathbfV is a linear isometry on mathcalH such that pi(Phi(a)=mathbfVpi(a)mathbfV for all a belong to mathfrakA. The Nagy dilation theorem, applied to isometry mathbfV, allows to construct a dilation of ucp-map, Phi, in the sense of Arveson, that satisfies ergodic properties of a Phi-invariante state phi on mathfrakA, if Phi admit a phi-adjoint.
