Erratum: Structural stability of nonchaotic difference equations

The authors point out that Theorem 3 of their earlier paper [ibid. 90, 1- 11 (1982; Zbl 0505.39004)] is not true without additional assumptions concerning the stability of periodic points. They prove a modified result.
