Error estimates for linear compartmental systems
From MaRDI portal
The authors consider compartmental systems (a special type of linear differential equations with quasimonotone increasing right-hand side) in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), ordered by the coordinate cone, and prove error estimates by comparing solutions to the system \(x'= P(t)x+ q(t)\) and the perturbed system \(x'= P^*(t)x+ q^*(t)\), wherein the perturbation is related to the given ordering. The results are applied to an example from ecotoxicology.
