Error estimates for the patching method in the bidimensional case
From MaRDI portal
Error estimates for the patching of spectral schemes with Gauss-Lobatto nodes are derived. The results are given for the Poisson problem in a bidimensional domain. The simple case of a square domain divided into two nonoverlapping rectangular subdomains is analyzed. The error estimation is performed for the Steklov-Poincaré operator which is operating on the interface.
