Estimates of the solutions of two-scale difference equations
From MaRDI portal
The author considers a two-scale difference equation of the form NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\phi \left( {\frac{t} {2}} \right) = \sum\limits_{j = 0}^n {c_j \phi (t - j)\quad (t \in \mathbb{R})} \tag{*}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(c_j \) are given real constants with \(c_0 c_n \neq 0\) and \(n \in \mathbb{N}\) and obtains the estimate for the solutions of (*) in both directions. For related reference see the papers of \textit{L. Berg} and \textit{M. Krüppel} [Result Math. 38, No.~1-2, 18-47 (2000; Zbl 0954.39017)].
