Extension problem for the solutions of partial differential equations in
The author considers analytic solutions of a linear first-order partial differential system in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) with real analytic coefficients. Let \(\Omega\) be an open set in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\), \(K\) be a compact subset of \(\Omega\) such that \(\Omega\setminus K\) is simply connected. Under the a priori assumption of the validity of the uniqueness theorem for the solutions of the system, the author gives a sufficient condition for every solution in \(\Omega\setminus K\) to have an extension to a solution in the whole of \(\Omega\). An application of the result to the Riesz system is given.
