Finite element solution of surface-tension driven flows in laser surface-melting
From MaRDI portal
Some surface-tension driven flows (Marangoni convection) are numerically simulated by using Galerkin finite element scheme combined with an explicit projection method. Steady-state results (isotherms, streamlines) are carried out for negative and positive temperature coefficients.
