Finite groups with dense solitary subgroups
From MaRDI portal
A group is said to possess dense solitary subgroups if every non-empty open interval of its subgroup lattice contains at least one solitary subgroup. In other words, solitary subgroups occur so frequently within the lattice that no open interval is devoid of them. The author analyses and characterizes finite groups whose subgroup lattices exhibit this rich distribution of solitary subgroups.
