Fixed point theorems by altering distances
The author proves fixed point theorems for single self-maps on a metric space \(X\) generalizing the results of \textit{K. P. R. Sastry} and \textit{G. V. R. Babu} [``Some fixed point theorems in complete metric sapces by altering distances, Indian J. Pure Appl. Math.
