Free universal algebras with separately continuous operations
The main object of the study is the collection of quasi-topological universal algebras, i.e., the collection of universal algebras, which have been equipped with a topology making all of the operations separately continuous.\N\NFirst, it is demonstrated that the quotient \(A/{\sim}\) of a quasi-topological universal algebra \(A\), where \(\sim\) is a congruence of \(A\), is again a quasi-topological universal algebra, when \(A/{\sim}\) is equipped with the quotient topology.\N\NFurthermore, some properties of\N\begin{itemize}\N\item[a)] varieties of quasi-topological universal algebras;\item[b)] absolutely free quasi-topological universal algebras;\item[c)] free quasi-topological algebras\N\end{itemize}\Nare studied.\N\NSome separation axioms for quasi-topological universal algebras are also considered and the constructive description of absolutely free quasi-topological universal algebras in full varieties of quasi-topological universal algebras is given.
