Functional and matrix approximation of numerical solution of Haar wavelet
From MaRDI portal
In this paper the application of Haar wavelets to first and second-order ordinary differential equations (ODE) solutions is studied. The obtained results are compared to those obtained by the function and matrix approximation. The Haar wavelet collocation approach provides a more dependable and precise method for solving first and second-order ODEs numerically. In two examples the estimation errors are provided and it results that the proposed method is effective and accurate.
