Fuzzy random variables revisited
From MaRDI portal
This paper presents a short personal view on the development of the theory of fuzzy random variables which is essentially influenced by the author's own papers. Special attention is given to the law of large numbers and to a critical discussion of results by Kwakernaak, Kruse, Boswell-Taylor and Niculescu-Viertl. Finally, the Brunn-Minkowski and the Jensen inequality is extended to fuzzy random variables.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0942.00008].
