Generic properties of one-dimensional dynamical systems
From MaRDI portal
[For the entire collection see Zbl 0744.00035.] The paper studies continuous mappings on a circle or an interval with the topology of uniform convergence. The focus is on generic properties, that is, properties that hold on a residual set of maps. Features such as attractors are considered; for example, generically a one-dimensional mapping has no minimal attractors. Another result is that generically the systems are Lyapunov stable. Also, pseudo-orbit-shadowing has been studied.
