Genuine special unipotent representations of spin groups

From MaRDI portal

Building on the authors' previous work [``Special unipotent representations of real classical groups: counting and reduction, Preprint, \url{arXiv:2205.05266}], this paper determines all genuine special unipotent representations for real and quaternionic spin groups. The general strategy of addressing this problem consists of two steps: First is to use the coherent continuation representation to determine the number of such representations and second, to construct them explicitly to match the number. Furthermore, the authors establish that these representations are unitarizable and prove that genuine special unipotent representations do not exist for complex spin groups.\N\NFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1560.22002].
