Geometric constructions
From MaRDI portal
The author discusses geometrical constructions and sketches the methodological procedures. Then he notes that in the 19th century the problems were transformed, through Analytic Geometry and Algebra, into problems of real and complex numbers. He calls this a process of ``technology transfer. Then he gives a simplified elementary version of how the three classical problems of Greek Antiquity were treated with the algebraic methods.
