Gradient regularity for fully nonlinear equations with degenerate coefficients
From MaRDI portal
The purpose of this paper is to understand how the degeneracy/singularity of the coefficients influences the regularity of the solution of fully nonlinear equations of Hessian type. The authors derived \(C^{1,\alpha}\) estimates for viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear equations degenerating on a hypersurface. They investigated the fully nonlinear theory for some natural class of equations and also provided a general framework for some transmission problems.
