The authors investigate the homogenization of a \(3\times 3\) system of differential equations related to the Coriolis and Lorentz forces. Here the homogenization produces some nonlocal effects, given by an integral kernel determined by a Volterra integral equation. In the case where the coefficient is indipendent of time the kernel can be characterized explicitly in terms of Young's measures. The authors obtain also the kinetic formulation of the limit problem.
