Equations of the theory are obtained by the asymptotic analysis of the three-dimensional variational equation of motion. The governing equations are of the fourth order, employ specific kinematic variables, and require Neumann problem to be regarded. Unlike known beam theories, the present one gives a distribution of all stresses which can be found by solving a plane problem.
