Ind-completion and accessibility of functor categories

Given \(\kappa\) a regular cardinal and \(\mathcal{C}\) a category, \(\mathrm{Ind}_{\kappa}(\mathcal{C})\) denotes the \ completion of \(\mathcal{C}\). The construction \(\mathrm{Ind}_{\kappa}\) is a covariant endofunctor of the bicategory of locally small categories. Given a category \(I\), we have a functor\N\[\NE_{\mathcal{C},\kappa}^{I}:\mathrm{Ind}_{\kappa}(\mathcal{C} ^{I})\rightarrow\mathrm{Ind}_{\kappa}(\mathcal{C})^{I}\N\]\Npreserving \(\kappa\)-filtered colimits.\N\NThis paper aims to investigate under which conditions on \(\mathcal{C}\), \(\kappa\) and \(I\) this functor \(E_{\mathcal{C},\kappa}^{I}\) is an equivalence. The principal results of the paer are the following two theorems.\N\NTheorem. For a category \(I\) the following conditions are equivalent:\N\begin{itemize}\N\item[(L1)] For any locally \(\kappa\)-presentable category \(A\), the category \(A^{I}\) is locally \(\kappa\)-presentable and its \(\kappa\)-presentable\ objects are the functors \(I\rightarrow A_{\kappa}\).\N\item[(L2)] For every category \(\mathcal{C}\) with all \(\kappa\)-small colimits, the functor\N\[\NE_{\mathcal{C},\kappa}^{I}:\mathrm{Ind}_{\kappa}(\mathcal{C}^{I})\rightarrow\mathrm{Ind}_{\kappa}(\mathcal{C})^{I}\N\]\Nis an equivalence.\N\item[(L3)] \(I\) is essentially \(\kappa\)-small.\N\end{itemize}\N\NTheorem. For a category \(I\) the following conditions are equivalent:\N\begin{itemize}\N\item[(A1)] For every category \(\mathcal{C}\), the functor\N\[\NE_{\mathcal{C},\kappa}^{I}:\mathrm{Ind}_{\kappa}(\mathcal{C}^{I})\rightarrow\mathrm{Ind}_{\kappa}(\mathcal{C})^{I}\N\]\Nis an equivalence.\N\item[(A2)] For every Cauchy complete category \(\mathcal{C}\), the functor \(E_{\mathcal{C},\kappa}^{I}\) above is an equivalence.\N\item[(A3)] For any \(\kappa\)-accessible category \(A\), the category \(A^{I}\) is \(\kappa\)-accessible\(\kappa\)-accessible and its \(\kappa\)-presentable objects are the functor \(I\rightarrow A_{\kappa}\).\N\item[(A4)] \(I\) is essentially \(\kappa\)-small and well-founded.\N\end{itemize}
