Integrable Teichmüller spaces

From MaRDI portal

A kind of subspaces of the universal Teichmüller space is introduced and studied. Let \(D\) be a domain on \(\mathbb{C}\) and let \(\rho_D|dz|\) be the Poincaré metric of \(D\). Then \(HQD_p(D)\) is defined as the Banach space of the holomorphic quadratic differentials of \(D\) with norm: \[ \|\varphi \|_p=\left(\iint_D |\varphi |^p\rho_D^{-2p+2}dxdy \right) ^{1/p} <+\infty. \] \(T_p\) is defined as a subspace of the universal Teichmüller space, consisting of all the points whose Bers embeddings belong to \(HQD_p (\Delta^*)\), where \(\Delta^*\) is the complement of the unit disc. A sufficient and necessary condition for a Beltrami coefficient \(\mu\) to be in \(T_p\) is given in this paper.
