Interaction between thin shell of revolution and a viscous liquid under dynamic loads.
From MaRDI portal
The author considers the following problem: the closed rotation shell of positive Gaussian curvature with an arbitral meridian form is immersed into the liquid (ideal or viscous) occupying unbounded three-dimensional domain \(V\). It is assumed that a dynamic loading of arbitral intensity is affecting the internal surface of the shell. The problem of the dynamic interaction of a thin cylindric shell with the liquid is studied. Numerical results are discussed.
