Intrinsic complexification of real-analytic varieties
From MaRDI portal
In the paper under review the authors study the notion of Segre varieties for possibly singular real-analytic subvarieties of a complex space. Compared with the regular case, the singular setting comes with additional complications and pitfalls, due to the fact that the Segre varieties then may depend on the defining function of the variety and other data. The subtleties of the construction are illustrated by a host of examples.
