Involutions of finite abelian groups with explicit constructions on finite fields
From MaRDI portal
With a view towards permutation polynomials over finite fields, the authors study properties of families of involutions of a finite abelian group \(G\) of the form \(\lambda+g\circ\tau\), where \(\lambda\) and \(\tau\) are endomorphisms of \(G\) and \(g\) is an arbitrary function on this group. They present such involutions explicitly as polynomials in the cases of multiplicative and additive groups of finite fields.
