Many authors have studied hybrid systems ruled by differential equations driven by vector measures. The existence of optimal controls is known along with necessary conditions of optimality. In this paper, the author considers abrupt changes in system configurations modelled by operator valued measures involving bounded and unbounded perturbations. In such a setting, by applying semigroup theory tools, he proves the existence and regularity of solutions and pays particular attention to LQR problems.
