Property A is a coarse property of metric spaces that generalizes amenability [see \textit{G. Yu}, Invent. Math. 139, No. 1, 201--240 (2000; Zbl 0956.19004)]. The author shows that affine buildings of type \(\widetilde{A_2}\), \(\widetilde{B_2}\) and \(\widetilde{G_2}\) have Property A. Together with results of \textit{E. Guentner, N. Higson} and \textit{S. Weinberger} [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 101, 243--268 (2005; Zbl 1073.19003)] this shows that all affine buildings have Property A. The author also gives a new (and shorter) geometric proof for groups acting on buildings of type \(\widetilde{A_n}\).
