      For certain classes of sequences \((\varepsilon_n),\; (h_n^\prime)\) and subsets \(W_0, Z\) of \(\mathbb N\) such that the sequence \((t\varepsilon_nh_n^\prime)_{n\in Z\cap W_0}\) is asymptotically distributed mod 1 for a.a. \(t\in\mathbb R\) conditions are given for perturbations \(P(n)F(n\Theta)\) such that the sequence \((t(P(n)F(n\Theta) + \varepsilon_nh_n^\prime))_{n\in Z}\) is asymptotically distributed mod 1 for a.a. \(t\). Here \(F\) is a periodic \(C^2\)-function \(\mathbb R^d\to \mathbb R\), \((P(n))\) is polynomially growing and \(\Theta\) is a \(d\)-irrational number in \(\mathbb R^d\). This continues previous work of the author [Colloq. Math. 96 (1), 55--73 (2003; Zbl 1034.11039)]. An application to certain averages of powers of a \(d\times d\) matrix is indicated.
