Let \((\mathbb{M}, \|.\|)\) be a Minkowski (or normed) plane, i.e., \(\mathbb{M}\) is a real affine plane, where a norm \(\|.\|\) is defined. In such planes there exist different ways to introduce an angular measure. One of them is given by \textit{P. Brass} in [Comput. Geom. 6, 195--214 (1996; Zbl 0860.52008)]. According to his definition an angular measure is a measure \(\mu\) on the unit circle \(C:=\{x\in \mathbb{M}: \|x\|=1\}\) if it is extended in translation-invariant way to measure angles elsewhere and (i) \(\mu(C)=2\pi\); (ii) for \(X\subset C\) we have \(\mu(X)=\mu(-X)\); (iii) for each point \(p\in C\) we have \(\mu\{ p\})=0\). The main result in the paper under review is: if \(\mu\) is an angular measure in a normed plane \((\mathbb{M}, \|.\|)\) such that in any isosceles triangle the corresponding angles are equal with respect to \(\mu\), then the plane \((\mathbb{M}, \|.\|)\) is Euclidean.
