The authors provide an improvement of the convergence analysis of the relaxed multisplitting method associated with symmetric successive overrelaxation (SSOR) multisplitting for solving a linear system whose coefficient matrix is an \(H\)-matrix. The improvement consists on an enlarged convergence domain of the method.
