The author provides sufficient conditions for the existence of extremal solutions to a class of boundary value problems for first order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type. The main results are obtained using a comparison principle and the monotone iterative technique. An example is presented showing the applicability of the imposed hypotheses.
