Let \(X\) be a nonempty convex closed set and let \(G,F: X \to \mathbb R^n\) be continuous mappings. The author studies the problem of finding an element \(x^* \in X\) with \(\langle G(x^*), F(x)-F(x^*)\rangle \geq 0\) \(\forall x \in X\). Under appropriate (pseudo)monotonicity conditions on \(G\) and \(F\), existence and uniqueness results for the original problem are established.
