The authors study the pulse-collision dynamics in a model of binary fluid mixture by the extended complex Ginzburg-Landau equation. Various input-output relations of pulse-collision dynamics are investigated and the key role of an unstable time-periodic solution embedded in the collision process is shown. The delayed feedback control method is used in order to obtain another unstable solution which is controlling the pulse collision.
