In the paper under review, the authors use the (Markov--)Wilf--Zeilberger machinery to construct simple proofs of the following generating functions of zeta values: \[ \sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\zeta(2k+3)a^{2k} =\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{1}{n(n^2-a^2)} =\frac{1}{2}\sum_{k=1}^{\infty}\frac{(-1)^{k-1}}{k^3\binom{2k}{k}} \,\frac{5k^2-a^2}{k^2-a^2}\prod_{m=1}^{k-1}\frac{m^2-a^2}{m^2}, \] \[ \sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\biggl(1-\frac{1}{2^{k+1}}\biggr)\zeta(2k+2)a^{2k} =\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{(-1)^{n-1}}{n^2-a^2} =\frac{1}{2}\sum_{k=1}^{\infty}\frac{1}{k^2\binom{2k}{k}} \,\frac{3k^2+a^2}{k^2-a^2}\prod_{m=1}^{k-1}\frac{m^2-a^2}{m^2}, \] \[ \sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\zeta(2k+2)a^{2k} =\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{1}{n^2-a^2} =3\sum_{k=1}^{\infty}\frac{1}{\binom{2k}{k}(k^2-a^2)} \prod_{m=1}^{k-1}\frac{m^2-4a^2}{m^2-a^2}, \] given previously in [\textit{M.~Koecher}, Math.\ Intell. 2, 62--64 (1980; Zbl 1219.11123); \textit{D.~Leshchiner}, J.\ Number Theory 13, 355--362 (1981; Zbl 0468.10006); \textit{D.
