The notion of an Orlicz space with respect to a vector measure is studied. The author uses the classical elements of the theory of Orlicz spaces to generalize it to the setting of vector measures. Let \((\Omega,\Sigma)\) be a measurable space and consider a vector measure \(F: \Sigma\to X\), where \(X\) is a Banach space. If \(\Phi\) is an Orlicz function, a measurable function is said to be \((\Phi,F)\)-integrable if there exists \(a>0\) such that \(\Phi(\frac{|f|}{a})\in L^1(F)\). The space \(L_\Phi(F)\) of all \((\Phi,F)\)-integrable functions is considered; it generalizes the case of \(L^p(F)\) spaces, which was studied by the reviewer in the paper [Ill.\ J.\ Math.\ 45, No.\,3, 907--923 (2001; Zbl 0992.46035)], and the corresponding space \(QL_\Phi(F)\) of weakly integrable functions with respect to \(F\). In the paper under review, it is proved that \(QL_\Phi(F)\) and \(L_\Phi(F)\) are solid Banach lattices with a weak order unit when endowed with the Luxemburg norm under the adequate assumptions. These results can also be found in the paper by \textit{O.\,Delgado} [Indag.\ Math., New Ser.\ 15, No.\,4, 485--495 (2004; Zbl 1087.46023)], where a different approach is adopted. At the end of the paper under review, ultraproducts of vector measures and ultraproducts of subspaces of spaces of integrable functions are also analysed.
