Let \(\zeta_n(s):=\sum_{m=1}^nm^{-s}\) (\(s=\sigma+i\tau;\sigma,\tau\in{\mathbb R}\)) be the partial sum of order \(n\in{\mathbb N}^*\) of the Dirichlet series of the Riemann zeta-function. Let \(\varphi_n:=\inf\{\sigma\mid \zeta_n(\sigma+i\tau)=0\}\). The authors prove: \[ \lim_{n\to\infty}\frac{\varphi_n}{n}=-\log 2. \]
