Analysis of a FEM for a coupled system of singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion equations (Q1014368)

This paper deals with a system of coupled singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion equations. The goal is to construct uniformly convergent methods i.e. methods that perform equally well no matter how small the perturbation parameters. Convergence is established in the energy norm naturally associated with the weak formulation. Numerical results on Bakhvalov meshes for two test problems are presented.
