The paper considers the \(N\)-dimensional (\(N = 2, 3\)) Stokes system in a bounded domain with Dirichlet boundary conditions. It is assumed that the control consisting of \(N-1\) scalar functions occurs in the right-hand side and is lumped on a nonempty open subset \(\omega\) of domain \(\Omega\). The main result establishes the null controllability and generalizes the result of the work [\textit{E.~Fernándes-Cara, S.~Guerrero, O.Yu.~Imanuilov, J.-P.~Puel}, SIAM J. Control Optim. 45, No.~1, 146--173 (2006; Zbl 1109.93006)]. In the cited work, it was assumed that \(\omega\) ``touches'' the boundary~\(\partial\Omega\).
