This paper deals with singular perturbation reaction-diffusion problems with Dirichlet boundary condition. The main topics discussed in the present work include high order uniform convergence results and the main analytic tool used in this analysis is the difference method. Some numerical results for a linear reaction-diffusion problem are developed in the last part of the paper.
